STRATEGY FOR THE DAY: regroup

I spent a boring, miserable day in the hospital emergency room on Tuesday with an asthma attack. I've never had anything like this before and it was pretty scary. Seems to have been triggered by a cold which started on Sunday plus a sinus problem that's been bugging me for the last couple months. I'm doing fine now but I certainly had the wind knocked out of me for a couple days. I'm taking medication for the asthma and am seeing an allergist and pulmonary specialist today.

I've been cruising through new CDs looking for tracks to include on the inflight music channel I'm programming and have discovered some great new music. One CD in particular is a currrent fav: Ennio Morricone Remixes from Compost Records. Gorgeous, clever, fresh remixes of Ennio Morricone's brilliant film music. "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" remixed by Swell Session is an absolute standout, as is "Amore Come Dolore" by Needs which I'll be using on my next program. There are streaming audio samples at the Compost web site: compost-records.com. Definitely worth checking out. This is a German label with a lot of good electronica.
