STRATEGY FOR THE DAY: Give 'em some grief

Now, Lemme Get This Straight... Justin Timberlake rips Janet Jackson's bodice during their performance on the SuperBowl halftime show, exposing her right breast on national television. The next morning, the FCC Chairman is SCREAMING for an investigation. An investigation of what? Of course, MTV knew this was going to happen. Of course, CBS knew this was going to happen. Justin Timberlake claims it was a "wardrobe malfunction." (I LOVE that phrase!!!) The only question that's open to investigation is: if this was a wardrobe malfunction, then what was the wardrobe SUPPOSED to do when Justin ripped it?

Now, Lemme Get This Straight Part 2... A couple months ago, this same FCC Chairman gave mega-corporations the right to own 45% of the media outlets in a single market. Three quarters of a million emails were sent to the FCC and members of congress opposing this decision. How was such an unpopular and potentially devastating decision arrived at? No investigation needed. Not a peep was heard from the illustrious FCC Chairman. He knew just how it happened. His friends wanted it that way. Therefore, it was so!

My conclusion: It may have been Janet Jackson's boob that appeared on national television but the real boob is Michael Powell, the FCC Chairman.
