I just returned from visiting family in northern California. I enjoyed it but it's good to be back.

Before I left on the holidays I came across a very impressive singer-songwriter whose work seems to be available only at Broadjam.com. No CD, no downloads anywhere else that I can locate. Name: Kimo Pokini. Vocally he reminds me of a husky, intense Gordon Lightfoot. Great lyrics, compelling melodies, beautifully crafted songs. You can hear him by going to http://www.broadjam.com and doing a search on the song title "Heavyweight Man." Check out that song and the absolutely heartbreaking "When I Forget About You." I love stumbling across someone this good!
