Bridget also sent an email letting me know what she's been up to, including some live gigs on my side of the world (but a little too far north for me to make it there) in Seattle, WA and Portland, OR. She'll be playing at the book release party in NYC. Here's the info:
It's been many years since I've seen Bridget but a year or so ago we managed to record a long distance duet for my album BLUE FLAME. (To hear a 2 min. sample and read about the events that led to it, visit Robin and Bridget Duet on my web site. There's talk of her doing another solo album but it's still in the very early stages as far as I know. I hope it comes together. She sounds better than ever! I was watching The Inspector Lynley Mysteries on PBS last Sunday night and was delighted to see Gabrielle Drake in a featured role. She turned in a gorgeous performance, very human, very believable, lots of layers of emotion. I like this series and thought this was the best episode to date. I was glad to hear from her that they will be bringing her character back. They're no dummies; they know a good thing when they see it! * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - *
